ANNUAL EVENTS
Budget Briefing Feb. (day after the Governor's budget address) , Harrisburg Provides members first-hand insight into the administration's budget priorities directly from Cabinet officials, and gives attendees the opportunity to present questions and concerns to leading budget policy makers. Held the day after the governor unveils his budget, the event is promoted to members statewide and attended by more than 100 business leaders. PA Chamber Educational Foundation Event July 24, Harrisburg Each year, the PA Chamber Foundation presents a free event addressing a topic that is both timely and of particular importance to the business community. Chamber Day on Capitol Hill Date tba, Harrisburg Chamber Day on Capitol Hill is designed to showcase the important role that local chambers of commerce play in economic development. This event provides an excellent opportunity for sponsors to reach local chamber decision makers as well as legislators and their staff. More than 30 local chambers typically attend.

Critical Thinking Workshop Nov. 15, Camp Hill One of the PA Chamber's most popular events returns in 2012. Developed and presented by Colonel (Retired) Stephen J. Gerras, Ph.D., of the Department of Command, Leadership and Management at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, this workshop demonstrates how the concept of critical thinking, long used by the military, can be effectively applied to business operations. Workers Comp Annual Safety Committee Re-Certification Training April 26, King of Prussia Sept. 19, Camp Hill Oct. 3, Pittsburg The PA Chamber, in cooperation with the PA Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and the Bureau of PENNSAFE, offers this training annually to enable organizations to meet one of the main requirements of the state’s Safety Committee Workers’ Compensation Discount Program.
