PA Chamber to be guest on Pennsylvania Newsmakers

Biz panel to highlight top legislative/political stories of 2010; preview 2011

PA Chamber Vice President Gene Barr will offer insight into the past year in Pennsylvania politics, as well as preview the 2011-12 legislative session as a guest on this weekend’s edition of Pennsylvania Newsmakers.

Barr will appear along with Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association President and CEO Fred Anton and Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania Senior Vice President Jim Redmond. Barr, Anton and Redmond often appear together on the statewide public affairs television program.

The full half-hour show will focus on the top political and legislative stories from 2010, including the departure of Gov. Ed Rendell and U.S. Senator Arlen Specter from the political scene; the outcome of the 2010 General Election; and the fiscal challenges facing the Commonwealth. The expert panel will also highlight the anticipated legislative agenda of the Corbett administration and the General Assembly.
